At the end of every blog that I write you will read this. Husband, father, grandfather. Love all sports. Follower of Jesus. Blogger. Love to eat pizza and steak. Love to laugh. Married my high school sweetheart. Always sings in the shower. Germaphobe. Brushes teeth at least twice a day. Extrovert. Love my job at the radio station. Hate gossip. Love people. Wish I had a dog. Looking forward to heaven. In today’s blog I would like to explain and go into further detail.

I am a husband and have been for 42 years. I really enjoy being married and having a partner to do life with. Roxie and I get along so well. We are in our twilight years and I appreciate her more than ever. We have been together so long, we know what each other is thinking all the time. I can’t remember the last time we had an argument. I like to make her laugh and I like serving her and doing things for her to make her happy. I am also a father of four wonderful adult kids who are doing very well. They are all married, and I couldn’t ask for a better son in law and 3 beautiful daughters in law. The boys, Josh, Jeremy and Brandon have wonderful families. Brianna and Seth enjoy living the city life in Minneapolis and they love to travel. Being a grandpa is the greatest feeling ever. Spending time with them is what I like to do. I have six grand kids and love them to bits. My favorite time is when they see me and come running towards me yelling Grandpa and they all give me a big hug! That happens every time!

I said I love all sports, well that is really not true. I have tried and tried to watch soccer and to understand the game. I just can’t do it. I said I am a follower of Jesus. I say it that way because its about having a relationship with Jesus. You have a relationship with Jesus by inviting him into your life and reading his Word everyday and praying. Being a blogger is so much fun. Two friends talked me into doing this a couple of years ago and I absolutely love to blog. I have always said I am not a writer and have a long way to go. I really look forward to writing and I have met so many new friends on my blogging site on WordPress. I enjoy reading other blogs.

Love to eat pizza and steak, well that hasn’t changed and I don’t think it ever will. My two favorite foods. Love to Laugh and I laugh a lot and found its good for the soul as well. Married my high school sweetheart, and I’m still married to her 🙂 I always sing in the shower and something that is really strange is that its the same song every morning. Even more weird is that its a Christmas song. Stranger yet is I only know the first verse of White Christmas! Please don’t judge, I know that is really weird. Why am I sharing that? I did a blog about me being a germophobe, go back and read it. Brushes teeth twice a day. I think many people do that. Some days I don’t, but I like the feeling of freshly brushed teeth.

I am an extrovert! That I am! I feel charged up when I am around people. Love my job at the radio station. I don’t like to call it a job, because it’s like going to a party everyday. Being an extrovert and working in radio go hand in hand. Hate gossip, if you are gossiping around me I will tell you to stop and embarrass you. Love people, I enjoy hearing peoples stories and getting to know them. Wish I had a dog! Just a little house dog to pet at night. But my wife has a good point, who is going to take care of it during the day? Most nights I am not home, so it would be hard to have a dog and give it the attention it needs.

Looking forward to Heaven. Definitely. The Bible says, “He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.” 1 Peter 1:3-4. Billy Graham said this about heaven. “My home is in heaven. I’m just passing through this world.” Martin Luther was quoted as saying “I would not give one moment of heaven for all the joy and riches of the world, even if it lasted for thousands and thousands of years.” So how do you get to heaven? Matthew 18:3 And Jesus said: ‘I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. John 3:3 “In reply Jesus declared, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.

I have a tattoo and it has a very special meaning to me. It says ” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
