Saturday I was sitting on the beach on the shores of Lake Villard at Canary Beach Resort, surrounded by family. I enjoy watching my grandchildren swim in the lake. Back at the camper, I asked my granddaughter, Adelyn to be my guest blogger today. Let’s see what she has to blog about.

We just got our camper a couple weeks ago. I love it here. There’s an awesome beach and a lot of fun things to do while you’re here. They have cabins to rent right by the beach. They have 11 cabins and they renovated 10 of them. They also have slides, lily pads, and a trampoline in the water. You can also rent boats, canoes, paddle boats, and paddle boards! I can’t wait to get to use them!

One of my favorite things to do at the lake is fish. I have loved to fish ever since I was little. Waking up early to fish and staying up late at night to fish. Just even sitting on the boat is relaxing to me. I could sit in a boat for hours.

All of those things are so much fun, but my absolute favorite thing to do up here is sit around the campfire with my family and friends. Roasting marshmallows, staying up and telling stories. Those are my favorite things to do at the lake.
