One of my favorite jobs working in radio is interviewing people and learning new things from them. I was really busy broadcasting live from different events this past week. This will be more of a picture blog and describing the event below the picture.
Heather Nursery’s Garden Show from Grand Park in Madison with Duane Hastad and Val Halvorson Madison City Administrator. We talked about the newest park in Madison. Many plants, trees and grasses were planted.Thursday afternoon I was in Central Park in Canby talking with Elise Ferguson from Canby’s Farmers MarketNicole Ratajczak was my guest between volleyball sets Thursday evening. Nicole runs the video camera for the Canby Lancer volleyball team and she told me all the details about setting up the camera and what she does during the volleyball match
Monica Bothun was celebrating 15 years in business and we broadcast live from her shop Friday morning. Monica made breakfast for Terry and I. Terry and Monica started Fashionista Fridays 15 years ago on Q-92Every Friday I broadcast from Jims Market in Canby for Food Wagon Friday. Each week the proceeds go to a non profit organization. Delon Clarksean was representing the Canby Lions Club. Brian does all the grilling.Halftime guest during the Lqpv football game was Carly Kranz. Carly swims for the Montevideo/LQPV/DB Swim team and qualified for the section swim meet in Hutchinson Another halftime guests were the new Miss Appleton Royalty, Reese McCoy Miss Appleton, Appleton Ambassodors Morgan Hanson and Jaydah Kessler.Broadcasting live from Canby’s main street Saturday with Elise Ferguson. Fall Fest 2022 was going on with many activities in Canby Curt and Dan talked to me about the Classic Cars at the Car ShowSt. Peters P.E.A.C.E was working the food wagon Saturday in Canby. Erin Schubert talked to me on the radio about the fundraiser.Neon Gypsy with Kent and Vicky in Canby Saturday. These two were so much fun to interview. We need more cowbell!!!
