I enjoy taking pictures, so I’ve gathered my top pictures of the year. Every picture has a story to tell, so with every picture is a short story.
This is Reese Johnson of the Dawson-Boyd Blackjack volleyball team. I mistakenly called her Reese Witherspoon while doing the starting lineups on the radio. I cover six county fairs during the summer for KLQP. I did a malt a day during each fair! The response from my malt posts were amazing!It was my birthday and Crystal had just got done cutting my hair at Lavish when Jody arrived with balloons and candy bars from both of them. Deb Breberg came in and sang happy birthday to me. My grandson Eli’s birthday and his favorite place is Arts in Montevideo. We go to Arts often during the summer.Mya Conroy of the LQPV-DB Cross Country team surprisingly gave me a smile while crossing the finish line at a meet.Hanging out with Neon Gypsy at Canby Hat Daze! This husband/wife team are fun to watch and listen to. Great musicians! They bring lots of energy. My wife Roxie and I always make a trip to Falls Park in Sioux Falls during the summer. Its one of our favorite places.Madison High School class reunion! 45 years! I took my granddaughter Adelyn to the cities for a basketball tournament and on the way home we got ourselves a large pizza. She ate most of it 🙂Dawson-Boyd Exchange student Paa from Spain was our Player of the Game in the Blackjacks win at Canby. He kicked four extra points.
